Upload and schedule
Post photos you already have. Unlimited scheduled posts. Storage for waiting uploads depends on the plan.
You are here: Studio → Upload your own, then Approve & schedule
This is the manual lane. You bring the image. You write the caption if you want one. You pick when it goes out. There is no cap on how many posts you can have scheduled. What is capped is the size of uploaded files that are still sitting in storage, waiting to publish.
When to use this
A photoshoot, a product shot, a flyer, anything the AI should not redraw. Also useful when you already know the caption and just need a time slot.
Fields
Examples use Northstar Coffee, a fictional roaster. Copy the shape, not the facts.
| Field | What to add | Example | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| How many posts | Unlimited on Starter, Pro, and Agency. Scheduled posts are not the AI image cap. | 40 weekend stories lined up through December. Fine. | You are not paying per slot. Fill the calendar as far ahead as you like. |
| Photo storage while they wait | Starter 100 MB, Pro 200 MB, Agency 300 MB. Shown in Studio as used of limit. | A Pro workspace at 180 MB of 200 MB. One more 8 MB shoot still fits. A 30 MB batch does not until something publishes or you delete a waiting post. | Only scheduled uploads that we still hold count. Instagram and LinkedIn schedules use this bucket. Space frees when those posts go live or you delete them. AI-generated images do not use these MB. |
| Approve & schedule | Publish now, or pick a date and time. Needs a connected account for that network. | Tuesday 10:00, Instagram and Facebook, caption optional. | Now sends it as soon as the worker picks it up. A later time sits in Queue and Calendar as Will publish (black chip) once it is approved. |
Steps
- 1
Open Studio and choose Upload your own
Not Generate with AI. That other button spends AI images. This one does not.
- 2
Pick platforms, image, caption
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn. File: JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Caption can be blank if the image is enough.
- 3
Approve & schedule
Choose now or a time. The post shows on Calendar. Black chip means it will publish. If something is still waiting on you, it would be amber, same as any other draft.
Notes
- The AI monthly cap (100 / 300 / 1,000 images) is separate. Uploads do not spend it.
- If you hit the MB limit, delete a scheduled upload or wait until one publishes. Then try again.
- Usage also shows on Billing. Dashboard’s AI count is not this bucket.
- You can mix this with Autopilot. Autopilot fills empty days with generated posts. Your uploads keep the slots you booked.
What happens if you skip it
If you only use Autopilot and never upload, you can ignore this page. You still have unlimited scheduled AI posts, with the monthly AI image count as the limit that matters.
