Brand profile
Onboarding step 1. Who you are, how you sound, and what you sell. Captions and images start here.
You are here: Left sidebar: Brand profile (also the first onboarding step)
Brand profile is the short version of your company. Knowledge is the long version. Fill this even if you skip most knowledge areas.
When to use this
Right after register, and whenever the brand changes name, color, or offer.

Fields
Examples use Northstar Coffee, a fictional roaster. Copy the shape, not the facts.
| Field | What to add | Example | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brand name | The name customers know. | Northstar Coffee | Shows in the workspace switcher and in generated copy when the AI names you. |
| Industry | A plain category, not a slogan. | Specialty coffee | Keeps examples and comparisons in the right world. |
| Website | Your live site, with https. | https://northstar.coffee | Gives the AI a home URL for calls to action. |
| Short description | Two or three sentences. What you do, for whom. | We roast small-batch coffee in Pune and ship across India. Cafes and offices buy from us by the kilo. | Stops empty, generic bios in captions. |
| Value proposition | Why someone picks you over the next option. | Cafe taste on a weekday morning, without standing in a queue. | Hooks and headlines pull from this line. |
| Tone | How you talk. A few words is fine. | Warm, direct, a little dry humor | Captions match this instead of sounding like a brochure. |
| Style | How the writing looks on the page. Short vs long, casual vs crisp. | Short sentences. No slang. No hype words. | Pairs with tone so drafts stay consistent. |
| Primary brand color | The hex you already use on the site or packaging. | #6B3F2A | Image generation tints templates toward this color. |
| Logo | PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF of your mark. | A square PNG on a clear background | Used on layouts that include a logo. Skip if you do not have one yet. |
| Products / services | One item per line. Names customers would recognize. | House espresso blend Single-origin pourover bags Office subscription | Campaigns pick something real to talk about. |
| Business objectives | One goal per line. What you want social to help with. | Sell more subscriptions this quarter Get cafes to stock the new blend | Campaign plans aim at these, not at random engagement. |
What happens if you skip it
If you skip this, drafts guess. They will sound generic and off-color.
